We all know the service industry is not treated in high regard amongst other careers. The industry is flawed with dated practices, including tipping, which in itself is rooted in racism and societal suppression (don’t believe us? Do a quick google search….we’ll wait..).
We are working towards an equitable future that closes the wage disparity between both the front and back of the house as well as providing a livable wage for all staff.
That is why we have put forth a 20% service charge on all checks moving forward. This takes us one step closer to treating our once tipped out employees, some peace of mind with a set and stable income.
